Hidden in the foot hills of North Carolina is Lake Lure.  Beautiful Resort town that is a hidden gem. This is the perfect place to explore for outdoor enthusiasts. Lake Lure is 40 minutes from Asheville, and Hendersonville, within 2 hours Charlotte. When you visit hike the many trails at Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Gorge. Zip line and horse back riding to skiing to boat tour on the Lake Lure. We are located 15 minutes from TEIC.  This hidden gem has vintage rustic charm that dates back to early 1900’s. New Beginnings Historic Farm(5 minutes from Lake Lure) is a destination wedding location you don’t want to miss.

Beautiful venue! The owners are wonderful and did an exceptional job working with us to bring our big day vision to fruition! This is an amazing venue for events of different sizes, with indoor and outdoor amenities. I can’t say enough wonderful things about New Beginnings and their staff!

The first time I visited NB Farms I was impressed with the welcoming spirit of this place. Not a surprise since Sheri and John are great hostesses at giving a tour of this historic homestead. You have to see it and feel it to really appreciate it. The quaint atmosphere of the farm with the sloping landscape of mountains placed me in a relaxing mindset to enjoy nature as GOD intended it. The horses in the pasture and the landscaped grounds were lovely. The home inside is very stately and inviting. The Bridal Suite and Grooms Suite were quite impressive. This is a great place to make memories.
