Hike & Highland Cow tour

When I was a little girl my mom told me I always wanted a farm. Since then I have dreamed of living this experience. I want to share this experience with you in hopes you enjoy the peace and quiet as you engage with these amazing animals and the the love they bring to your heart is something that can not put into words, you just have to experience it. 

This Farm tour is a short hike around the property 1/2 mile please wear good hiking as there are several hills we navigate 100 yards (aprox) we will learn about the breed of highland cows then we will enjoy interacting with the highland cows, feeding, & grooming them.

Afternoon Tea with Highland Cows

Check in on the front porch of the historic farm house. Enjoy Coffee/Tea in the afternoon with a view of our highland cows. Enjoy an outdoor highland cow themed afternoon tea experience.
Sitting and Overlooking pasture with the highlands. We will enjoy sharing with you about the breed of cows we have and what they are known for and our safety guidelines. Explore how they interact with each other and their mannerisms.
We will the feed the animals thru the wood fence. Photo opportunities with your own camera allowed. We ask that you tag #nbhistoricfarm when sharing photos.
We will end our time washing hands and exploring some of our highland cow merchandise.

Other things to note
Great tour for those with littles that won’t sit thru our educational guided tour. We have tables near our pastures where you can sit sip on coffee or tea & snacks and take pictures with your own camera. Interact if desired while following guidelines.
Closed toe shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty, while interacting with animals.
This tour is Recommended for families with littles. All children must be supervised and not allowed to run and roam the farm. Dogs are not allowed. If the weather is bad don’t worry we will see cows.. but will have a pavilion to get under near the cows.

Home & Highland Cow

The Home & Cow Tour you will learn the history of the farm of those who once lived here then we will feed, interact and groom the highland cows. We have two main tours here on the farm. This one includes the history of the farm and home & then enjoying the animals and Highland cows. Our second tour see below.
