Baby Nubians on the Farm

May 18, 2015/in Updates

April 1st we had a wonderful surprise here on the farm. We had twin baby goats one male and one female. They have been such a joy. The first few days I was pretty worried because Carrie their mama would not nurse them. (Not uncommon for first time moms) We helped her along and they all finally got the hang of it. Snow Bear our great pyrenese here acts like there mama although they are are disappointed when trying to seek out dinner from Snow Bear. She makes a great baby sitter when mama wants a break.  I never knew how wonderful baby goat can be. We have decided to call them Samuel and Naomi.  If you have time one day come by and see them. They are so precious and you will be sure to fall in love like we have.
